Birds of Myall Park Botanic Garden and surrounding brigalow region

Successfully launched on 26 August 2010 at the Western Downs Regional Council Chambers.  

Brigalow Birds is the definitive identification and information book covering 250 species from the brigalow focus region.

Easy to read facts for each species including scientific name, common name, distinguishing features and similar species, call, flight, feeding, breeding.

A number of full coloured images of each species. One page for each species.

Brigalow Birds also includes birding tips, birding sites, local history of bird populations and species, associated plants and glossary.

Developed from extensive field work, knowledge of local landholders and bird experts.

This book will be invaluable to a wide range of bird watchers, from the beginner to the expert, land managers, educators, conservationists and children interested in birds and the environment.
